Attendance:
Regular attendance is essential for student progress and to ensure the full benefits of music education. Students are expected to arrive on time for their scheduled lessons. Although we attempt to keep the student/teacher pairing consistent over time, realistically this is not always possible. When it can’t be avoided there may be teacher changes throughout the course of the year, especially during semester or student/teacher schedule changes.

Make-Up Credits:
If you are unable to attend a lesson you will be issued a credit. You are able to carry/bank up to 2 makeup/reschedule credits. These do not expire as long as your membership is current and on-going. Missed makeup or rescheduled lessons do not qualify for a further makeup. Makeup credits are not refundable.

Late Arrivals: Students arriving late will not have their lesson time extended and will end at the scheduled time.

Holiday Closings 2024-25:
November 24-30 - Thanksgiving Week
December 22-28 - Christmas Week
December 29-January 4 - New Year’s Week
March 9-15 - Spring Break Week

We are also closed on individual days in observance of:

Labor Day, Monday September 2
Martin Luther King Day, Monday January 20
Memorial Day, Monday May 26
July 4-5, Independence Day

Termination of Lessons: If you wish to discontinue lessons the following month, please provide a notice by the 15th of the last month of membership. This allows the studio to fill the time slot and provides closure for the student-teacher relationship.
