““Our instructors are carefully screened, professionally trained and highly skilled. Their personality and character are as important to me as their musical expertise. I’m very picky when it comes to selecting instructors.””

Founder, MusicLessons1on1
Master Guitar Certification, Berklee
TAMU Class ‘96
I founded MusicLessons1on1 out of a desire to do something meaningful and significant. I have found that by impacting and encouraging and inspiring new musicians, I was coaching people that would go on to impact and encourage and create even more musicians, who would then, in turn, do the same for others. This process continues into infinity, ultimately impacting people over and over again the course of several lifetimes. I think ALL teachers have this legacy, and I am gratefully for this opportunity and for the success we have shared with thousands of students over the past 2 decades here at MusicLessons1on1.

Maddison S.
Hi, My name is Maddison Schwentner and I have been singing since I could form words, and playing guitar since about 2018. My very first guitar was a Martin backpack guitar that my dad brought back from Germany, and I have been in love with guitars ever since. I grew up as a devoted choir kid, and if you ever catch me alone, I’m probably singing to pass the time. I’ve been performing live in my home town for years in different locations and areas. I have an absolute passion for music, and I’m so excited to get to share my love for music!

Howdy! My name is Alannah Roberts, and I have been playing the violin for 12 years. In high school, I served as concertmaster in my main orchestra and led the advanced Chamber Orchestra, traveling across California for various competitions.
During college, the violin has become both a cherished hobby and a way for me to share my knowledge with others. Music plays a significant role in my life—it serves as an outlet for stress, a creative hobby, a pastime, and even a way to strengthen the mind.
I have been teaching at Music Lessons 1on1 for nearly four years, working with students ranging from 5 to 80 years old. I firmly believe it’s never too late to start learning, and I tailor my teaching to fit each student’s unique musical goals. Rob W.
To Rob White, music might as well be water. Having begun his musical journey enjoying musicals, 90’s Country, and Classic Rock with his parents, Rob began to exercise his love for music in a variety of different ways. Having started out in church choir, Rob quickly began expanding his musical reach, first with saxophone in band before becoming an All-State tenor in choir his senior year of high school in New Mexico. Rob began working on playing bass for his church praise team, and fell in love with the sound and role of the instrument. Rob attended Texas A&M University, Graduating with a degree in Sport Management, but not before spending all 4 years performing with the Singing Cadets. Performances were as far reaching as China and attendees included many former presidents, as well as performing for the memorial service for Chris Kyle at AT&T Stadium in Arlington. Most recently, Rob has focused his efforts in performing professionally in touring bands, currently serving as the bass player and harmony vocals for Texas Country/Red Dirt artist Carson Jeffrey. Rob’s influences are wide and varied, from musicals such as Phantom of the Opera and Cats, to bands such as Metallica, Alice in Chains, Breaking Benjamin, Keith Whitley, Garth Brooks, William Clark Green, and so many others. ““Music does not discriminate against age or one’s own perception of musical ability. You’re never too old or young to learn an instrument or sing. EVERYONE has musical potential, many simply need a good teacher to help them connect with this potential.””
“I took up piano lessons with them as an adult (zero prior experience) and it was a great experience.”
Brennan C.
Hello! My name is Brennan Collier and I attend Texas A&M University! I am a drummer in a band out of College Station, The Highway 6 Band. I have always had an extreme passion for drumming! I used to sneak on stage as a kid and stand right next to the drummer at any live events, church, and even on a cruise while they had live music. My mom used to get so mad but all the drummers used to let me stay up there and even play. From then on I knew I wanted to be on a stage! I absolutely love it and hope to share my passion with others! I hope to teach and pass along my knowledge and my goal is to make better musicians than I am!
